Cedar trees

This fast-growing variety of evergreen trees has a distinctive spicy scent and short, dark green needles. 

Cedars are normally large trees that usually line streets or are found in parks. They make an excellent windbreak and are suitable on large pieces of property to add a living hedge or winter roost for local birds and small wildlife. These trees are often targeted by several types of pests, fungi, and diseases that can threaten the tree’s health. Through regular maintenance such as pruning and spraying for these issues, cedars can continue to look, smell, and provide their best.
